Telford's Suspension Bridge, Conwy Castle
The reflection of Conwy Castle with Thomas Telford's Suspension Bridge. Built in 1826, the Conwy Suspension Bridge spans the River Conwy and replaced the ferry at the same point. Telford matched the bridge's supporting towers with the castle's turrets. Hidden on the far side is the tubular Conwy Railway Bridge built by Robert Stephenson in 1848.
